Previous program partners include:

HDT acknowledges that its success will only be registered by involving the stakeholders (communities, CSO, Government and Development Partners). HDT works with different partners according to our mission. We categorize partners in program partners, and core partners. Sometimes the partnership may overlap into more than one category.


Program partners: Institutions and/or individuals who give grants or donation to HDT. The current program partners in this category are:

  Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health :In collaboration with AFP-Tanzania and  UNA-Tanzania, we partner to advocate for increased political and financial support for family planning

Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP): We collaborate in ending preventable child and maternal deaths (EPCMD) by expanding access to quality reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) services

HJF Medical Research International (HJFMRI) or Walter Reed Program—Tanzania: We partner in a comprehensive HIV prevention program for Key population (FSW, MSM and PWID), Adolescent Girls and Young Women in Mbinga Ruvuma.

Tanzania Communication and Development Center (TCDC): We partner in the behavior change programs through Community Change Agents who deliver innovative and behavior change messages towards Malaria, FP and HIV to the community

The Foundation for Civil Society: We partner in structured trainings for their grantees

These include the Members of Tanzania AIDS Forum, TACAIDS, MoHSW, DSW and NACP who we work together in policy formulation, reviews implementation
