A social scientist with Nursing and Midwifery background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Sociology. She has over thirty years of experience in nursing, and midwifery in which her area of practice has predominantly been reproductive health including maternal, child, new born and adolescent health and HIV/AIDS. Feddy Mwanga has a wide experience in program management and has held several high managerial positions in local and international organization. As Technical Director, Deputy Chief of party and later Chief of party and Country Representative for Engender health Tanzania, led the implementation of two five Years each USAID funded projects (Acquire Tanzania project (ATP) and Respond Tanzania Project (RTP) that were very successful. Both projects focused on increasing access and utilization of reproductive health in particular family planning and specifically long acting and permanent methods, comprehensive post abortion care (cPAC), postpartum family planning and scaling up prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT). Feddy is one of the founder members of the Tanzania Midwives Association (TAMA) and for over 10 years, she has been a high-level leader of the Tanzania Midwives association (TAMA), as General Secretary and now the President of the association.

Dr. Mteule is currently working with Jhpiego Tanzania as Senior Manager for Grants and Operations, overseeing the Contracts, Grants, IT, Procurement and Operations department for Jhpiego Tanzania country office. In addition, Dr. Mteule provides regional support to Jhpiego Sierra Leone (Grants and Capacity Building to Global Reach II Program), Lesotho (Organization Capacity Building support to Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL), Namibia (Grants and Contracts support to ACHIEVE project) and Ghana (Grants Management support to African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth). Dr. Mteule also worked with Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), San Francisco USA, as Contracts and Grants Manager from October 2015 to December 2017, leading the financial billing aspect and compliance for the JVS various U.S. Government contracts, Foundations and Corporations grants. Prior to moving to the USA, Dr. Mteule worked with Deloitte as Principal Consultant, Capacity Building Manager and Grants Manager in different projects that Deloitte managed with other consortium partners from 2007 to 2015. Dr. Mteule has a significant experience in effective management of programs and coordination, projects financial management and budgets, grants, compliance and contracts management, and institutional strengthening/capacity building. Moreover, Dr. Mteule has accumulated audit experience, having worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a senior auditor in Audit and Compliance, before joining Deloitte.

Dr. Bwijo is a clinician and researcher, current lecturer at Kampala University. He worked at the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP), Ministry of Health, Tanzania as Head of Care and Treatment Unit, Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS) as the Country’s Global Fund Coordinator and the Secretary of the Tanzania Global Fund’s board, the Tanzania National Coordinating Mechanism (TNCM). Later joined UNDP Tanzania Country Office as Programme Specialist HIV/AIDS. Dr. Bwijo has made numerous publications in the area of public health, he is expert in negotiation and team building.

Lilian is an advocate of the high court in the United Republic of Tanzania with more than 10 years of experience. She holds Master Degree Programme on Business Administration (International Business) ) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice studies at the Law School of Tanzania and Bachelor Degree in Laws (LL.B) at the University of Dar es Salaam. She worked as legal officer for Women’s Legal Aid Centre (WLAC) for more than 6 years. She is currently a partner at Nile and Company advocates for more than 5 years. Her areas of specialization mainly on civil, corporate, conveyance, labor, probate, family and child laws with variety of clients from individual, companies to institutions. Neville Meena is currently a Chief Editor with FAMA publication; a Swahili Quarterly Magazine writing on Agriculture and its value chain. He has an experience of over 20 years in journalism among those years being an editor for different media outlets (both print and electronic). The media with irrespective position he had carried include; Mwananchi (Managing Editor, Investigation Editor & Saturday Editor), Tanzania Daima (Managing Editor), Kulikoni Newspaper (Chief Sub Editor) and Bureau Chief with Radio Free Afrika & Star TV at Dar es Salaam Bureau. Apart from that, he has been a Secretary for Tanzania Editors Forum (TEF) for twelve years, prior 2021. Now he serves as a member of Executive Committee of the organization. He has played a key role in strengthening the organization, especially the time when the space of the media was severely shirking.

A Clinician turned public health specialist, Dr. Amos Mbelwa Kahwa has over 17 years of experience leading and managing research studies in Tanzania from formative assessments to randomized controlled designs, reflecting his strong attributes as skillful leader in science and team management. Internationally trained, he has led and extensively authored in a peer-reviewed journals including Lancet, PLOS One, BMC, among others. Most importantly, he has led or been engaged in over 45 studies that have considerable qualitative and quantitate research components and received numerous trainings making him adept in ensuring utmost quality of the M&E assignment while upholding sound ethical principles. Dr. Kahwa has worked extensively in diverse health areas of HIV/AIDS, Reproductive, Maternal, Adolescent, Child, and Neonatal Health (RMACNH), Tuberculosis and Malaria. He has secured several international grants, including from the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership, and widely consulted with local and INGOs, including Jhpiego; PLAN international; TACAIDS; NACP; Marie Stopes International, Engender Health, Pathfinder, Palladium Group, and FHI 360. He has been the overall study PI and lead consultant for several studies conducted at National Institute for Medical Research- Muhimbili Centre (NIMR) where he heads the research programs and consultancies. He is a Medical Doctor with postgraduate qualifications in health economics and has worked with National research institution for more than 15 years.
